Kaio Kathriner

Kaio Kathriner is a Swiss-Canadian Director and Cinematographer whose short film and documentary work has screened internationally. From shooting at Everest Base Camp to NHL superstar Connor McDavid, his filmmaking adventures have landed him in Nepal, Cambodia, Peru, and across the USA.


Kaio's latest film, "Refuge in the Rockies" recently won Best Documentary at the Vancouver Short Film Festival, and was nominated for Best Documentary at the British Documentary Film Festival 2019, as well as Best Canadian Short at NORTHWESTFEST Edmonton 2019. It has now screened internationally and in most major Canadian cities. His recent music video "Balmoral Hotel" by Rare Americans just reached 1M views online, and "Carry A Light" by CIVILIANA has been featured on magazines such as Northern Transmissions. His 1st short film "Hunt for the Mad Trapper" (2013) received Official Selection to the 2014 NSI Online Film Festival and was awarded 5 nominations, including Best Short Drama, at the 2014 Leo Awards. Kaio was also awarded the Rising Star Award at the 2015 Canada International Film Festival. You can go to his place and he'll serve you up a choice of wild elk, moose, or goat meat on the BBQ. Matt Drake

Producer, Re-Recording Mixer

Matt Drake is a Canadian producer based in Vancouver BC, working out of White Hart Post. Matt recently won Best 1st Canadian Feature at TIFF 2017 with Luk'Luk'i. More than one of his films have premiered at TIFF and been awarded numerous Leo Awards. He is still trying to convince himself that the Edmonton Oilers are a good hockey team.

Leigh Harrison is a director and writer originally from the East Coast. When entering Leigh's East Van apartment, you may find it hard to find a place to sit. It has recently been converted into his sculpting studio.

Tom Melenica is an editor and writer currently working out of White Hart Post in Vancouver. He takes a little cream with his coffee, and rarely strays far from Earl Grey tea; although cutting back on both is definitely on a list of things Tom is willing to consider.
